This 1358 mm (L) x 1165 mm (W) Slimline II roof rack kit includes the Slimline II platform, a wind deflector and two Grab-On feet (pair), which let you mount the platform on the roof rails of your Volkswagen Golf Variant MK6 (2009 - 2013). The system is easy to install on the existing factory / OEM roof rails using off-road-capable feet. No drilling is required. All Front Runner roof rack kits include installation instructions as well as the components required to attach the Slimline II platform to your vehicle.NOTE: Your vehicle must have a factory / OEM roof rail to use this roof rack kit.The roof rack kit can be removed, leaving your vehicle's roof and roof rail in original condition. All Front Runner roof racks have a lifetime warranty. (*see warranty terms)The factory raised roof rails are designed as a transport solution for ''lighter'' loads. The load capacity recommended by the manufacturer should not be exceeded. To achieve optimum load capacity, we recommend that the load does not overhang (except sports equipment) and that the total weight is distributed evenly on the rack. The factory free-standing roof rails are not suitable for extreme off-road use. If this is being considered, we recommend considering another Front Runner mounting solution. Please contact us so we can advise you on the specific mounting solutions and their intended use.
