Information on the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive:
Act on the Sale, Return, and Environmentally Sound Disposal of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act - ElektroG)
Note regarding the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG):
Please dispose of old electrical and electronic equipment as required by the legislator at a municipal collection point or return them free of charge to a local retailer. Disposing of them in household waste is explicitly prohibited under the WEEE Directive!
You can return devices received from us free of charge after use by sending them, sufficiently franked, by post to the address provided in the imprint. Old devices containing pollutants are marked with a crossed-out trash can symbol. You will also find these instructions in the accompanying documents of the shipment or in the manufacturer's user manual.
Information on Battery Disposal:
In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices that contain batteries, SGS 4x4 GmbH, as the seller, is obliged to inform you of the following:
As an end user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries. You may return batteries after use to the seller or at designated collection points (e.g., municipal collection points or retail stores) free of charge. You may also return batteries by post to the seller.
Returns of batteries/accumulators should be addressed to: SGS 4x4 GmbH, Im Seesengrund 19, 64372 Ober-Ramstadt. The symbols on the batteries have the following meanings:
• Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% by weight of lead
• Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002% by weight of cadmium
• Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% by weight of mercury.
The crossed-out trash can symbol indicates that the battery must not be disposed of in household waste.
