Complete 6 mm aluminium skid plate set for the MAN TGE 4x4, model years 2017–2021
This set protects the underside of the all-wheel-drive MAN TGE from model years 2017 to 2021 with five aluminium plates: engine & gearbox, prop shaft mount, fuel tank, AdBlue tank and rear differential. Together the plates weigh 41.26 kg. They bolt on at the original mounting points without drilling, and each comes with a TÜV certificate, so no registration entry is needed in Germany.
New in the set: a guard for the AdBlue tank (part no. 6386.1). Until now the set covered only the fuel tank, and the AdBlue tank had no guard of its own.

Does the set fit my MAN TGE?

Model years: 2017 to 2021. The AdBlue tank guard 6386.1 is listed for these years only, so the set applies to these years only.

AdBlue tank: the set requires a vehicle with an AdBlue tank. For vehicles without one, we supply the fuel tank guard 4440.7 separately.
For a TGE from 2022 onwards, the engine & gearbox, prop shaft, fuel tank and rear axle plates are also listed and available individually. If you are unsure, send us the model year and the key numbers from your registration document and we will check the fit.
Material: aluminium 6 mm
The engine & gearbox, fuel tank, AdBlue tank and rear differential plates are 6 mm aluminium. Each plate is pressed and formed as one shell, which spreads an impact over a larger area. Aluminium does not corrode, even with road salt or salt water.
Fitting
All five plates bolt to the original mounting points, with no drilling or cutting. We recommend a lift or a jack with axle stands. The individual parts list 0.3 to 0.5 hours per plate, around two hours for the whole set. On request, we fit the set at our workshop in Ober-Ramstadt, Germany: book through our fitting service.

Frequently asked questions
Does the set fit a MAN TGE from 2022?
No. The AdBlue tank guard in this set is listed for 2017 to 2021 only. The other four plates are available individually for later model years.
My TGE has no AdBlue tank. Does the set fit?
No. The fuel tank guard in this set is made for vehicles with an AdBlue tank. For vehicles without one, the fuel tank guard 4440.7 is available separately.
How long does fitting take?
Around two hours for all five plates, with no drilling or cutting.
