The system installs easily with the off-road-capable feet on the existing factory / OEM roof rails. No drilling is required. All Front Runner roof rack kits include installation instructions and the components required to mount the Slimline II platform to your vehicle.NOTE: Your vehicle must have factory / OEM roof rails in order to use this roof rack kit.The roof rack kit can be removed, leaving the roof and roof rails of your vehicle in their original condition. All Dometic Front Runner Series roof racks come with a 5-year warranty (*see warranty terms). The factory rails are designed as a transport solution for ''lighter'' loads. The load capacity recommended by the manufacturer should not be exceeded. To achieve optimum load capacity, we recommend that the load does not overhang (except for sports equipment) and that the total weight is distributed evenly across the rack. The factory roof rails are not suitable for extreme off-road use. If this is being considered, we recommend considering another Front Runner mounting solution. Please contact us so we can advise you on the specific mounting solutions and their intended use.NOTE: The load capacity for roof rack kits for factory / OEM roof rails must not exceed 50 kg. In addition, the load must be evenly distributed.NOTE: Specific load ratings and speed limits can be found in the detailed installation instructions.
